Based on the current ongoing research projects, SEMAG is offering opportunities (some of them with associated research grants) to PhD students in the following topics:

- Ontologies and Domain Reference Models in SaaS: Construction of a semantic framework based on ontologies and domain reference models to be adopted in the development of SaaS solutions.
- Cost Models in Complex Information Systems Project Management: Adoption of cost models to support project management decisions in complex information systems development, like ERPs, COTS, …
- Lean Mangement and Six-Sigma in Team Capability Improvement: Incorporation of lean management and six-sigma techniques in high-maturity levels of technology development.
